Question : Remote Desktop solution needed

Hello Experts,

I'm working on a VPN/remote desktop solution for a non-profit organizations of 30 workstations (desktops/laptops).
I've successfully was able to set-up VPN access as well as 'reserved IP's' so that people know addresses to which they should connect.
So people can get onto the LAN through VPN without any problems.

Need: 'Remote Desktop' software/solution that can allow employees to access their desktops AND laptops from home. Must have 'Wake-Up" support to wake up computers in 'Stand-By' mode.

Problem: I want to have desktops and especially laptops to be in a StandBy mode and still be accessible remotely (Woken up? - Wake On Lan perhaps?). I dont' care much about Desktops, but laptops overheat, and it's not good for them to be On 24/7.

Progress I Made:
- I can use small program to 'wake-up' computers through VPN once i set them up properly. That takes time and lots of testing. It's not really convenient for end users and doesn't always work for me.
- I've been using Ultra VNC and it's been working well, however, it's not able to deal with the "wake up" issue that i'm having.

Is there any other way / solution / software that will 'Wake-Up' computers fast and easy?
Any information on give topic will help!

Thanks in advance!

Answer : Remote Desktop solution needed

Maybe these sites will help:

Configration option: http://winhlp.com/node/57

Online option: http://rshut.com/products/wol/

This would allow you to "wake" the systems up then be able to connect to them remotely.
