Question : NetWare 5.1 sp7 eDir 85.27 upgrade to NetWare 6.5 sp3

I'm looking at NetWare 5.1 with sp7 and eDir 85.27 installed in a 15 server tree. Early NW 6.5 upgrade requisites said that SP6 on NetWare 5.1 was necessary but I've also seem some that say an upgrade from eDir 8.5 to 6.5 sp3 is not an option.

Any experts have the final say on whether I can upgrade directly from 5.1/85.27 to 6.5 sp3?

If not, any suggestions on which path I should take? 8.7.3 on 5.1 would leave with some serious backup issues (no iManager, java too low to run eMbox, etc) and 8.6 as an intermediate step is no longer available since Novell removed it from their downloads section.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suppose you COULD do a two-phase upgrade - to 6.0 and then to 6.5.  You might be able to do it with an ATW migration using migration wizard 6.5???
