Question : Enterprise Admins and Schema Admins missing

I upgraded an NT 4.0 PDC to Windows 2003 SP1 and joined the domain callled domainB to an already existing forest.   The existtng forest has a domain called domainA.   After the upgrade and joining the forest, my upgraded box, domainB, does not have an Enterpise or Schema admins group.   The domainA DC has those groups.  

Is this correct whereas only one domain in the forest has the Enterpise admins and schema admins or is something wrong with my configuration.

If you added it to an existing forest then it's a child domain (regardless of the domain name). Enterprise Admins and Schema Admins only lives on the first Domain in the Forest.

It won't work dissolving Domain A as far as I know; Domain B is quite reliant on it as Domain B (being a Child) will not have everything it needs to run on it's own. The only reliable way to do it is to create yet another Domain in it's own Forest and migrate everything from Domain B to that.
