Question : XP constantly losing server connections
Office network that used to have 2 DCs until one died. Current DC was already the primary and just needed a few things moved over(DHCP, etc...). Two users are currently having an issue in which they will constantly lose their connection to the servers, including exchange, DNS and a database server. They are still able to reach the internet, as long as Name Resolution is not required.
Disabling the network connection and re-enabling it will immediately fix the issue. One of these machine have already had all cables between it and the switch replaced(except for the drop) as well as being moved to a new switch. This problem did begin to occur when the older DC died.
