Question : breaking a VPN connection
|
|
is there a way for me to break someone else's use of my VPN connection? I gave tech support my VPN connection information to troubleshoot and now I can't log on. I think someone closed the application we use but not the SonicWall VPN connection. I do have access to the server and have tried deleting my connection there and then reestablishing it, that didn't work.
It has been two days that I have not been able to work on my VPN connection.
thank you.

I think you may be stuck with the one guaranteed solution - reboot the firewall. If you can set yourself up another account to use temporarily, just connect in when your firewall/VPN is least used by your users and reboot it. It should only be down for a couple of minutes. Not a real elegant solution, but an effective one.
