Question : Change extension that external calls go to

Hi all,

We have a Nortel BCM 400 and i want to change what extension the external calls go to. At the moment they go to extension 500 and i want to change it to 521. I have been looking around the BCM Element Manager but have so far been unsuccessful.

Where is the specific extension set?

Hi M3mph15,

Using the BCM Element Manager go to Telephony > Sets > Active Sets
Click on ext 500 It will list the Line Assigment.
Note the line number.
If you do the same for ext 521.

What you need to do is swap these Line numbers around.
(I would note the original details, incase you need to reverse these)
