Question : Local policy of this system does not permit you to log on interactively

We run windows 2000 domain
xp clients

I set a user up with a vpn connection at their home...they vpn into the network and then remote desktop into there computer at work

however this specific user is getting this error Local policy of this system does not permit you to log on interactively

I've set tons of people up with access from their homes and remote desktop connecting into their computers at work

I don't understand why this user doesn't have permissions, this is a manager?

I check their local security policy on their computer and the appropriate groups/users are able to log on interactively

I dont' know how to fix this, any help would be great

Answer : Local policy of this system does not permit you to log on interactively

You could try adding the user to the Remote Desktop Users group on the work computer.
