Question : DNS server encountered bad packet from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ip addess

Hi guys.

I have one NT 4.0 DNS Server. Currently when I monitored thru Event Viewer, it diplayed messages as stated below:

1)DNS Server encountered bad packet from 192.5.5.241(root server) packet processing leeds beyond packet length. 2)DNS Server encountered name offset exceeding packet length.Offset is the error. 3)DNS Server encountered invalid domain name in packet from 193.0.14.129 (root server). Packet is rejected.

This messages keeps coming in at Even Viewer which make my server performance slower.

Could you guys explain what are the above messages indicates and how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.
