Question : Subnetting
My company is in the process of moving from multiple locations into one location. I am thinking of creating 2 subnets. 1 for my servers and another for our workstations. I have never setup multiple subnets so I am not sure how they would be able to communicate to each other. Would it have to be setup through VLANS? This is my thought: VLAN1 = All servers with IP's of 192.168.150.1 - .254 and VLAN2 = 192.168.200.1 - .254. Is this possible or am I way out in left field, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You're welcome. "The SuperStack 3 Switch 4924 supports 3Com Gigabit Multilayer Switching software, which offers feature-rich Layer 2 functionality, Layer 3 switching for IP networks"
"multilayer" and "layer 3" are all the keywords you need. Since the rest of your infrastructure is 3Com, and this product does what you need, then go for it!
