Question : Internet Explorer and FireFIox Browser stays in memory after Exiting
I have a very peculiar situation that started about a week and half ago.
When I open Internet Explorer I see in Task Manager 2 iexplorer.exe. However, when opening Firefox, onle one firefox.exe is present.
But when I exit any of them or both of them, they both stay in my Task Manager and consumes all the PC resources.
The versions are:
Internet Explorer: 8.0.6001.18702 / 128-bit
FireFox: 3.0.11
What can cause this and how can we resolve it?
Answer : Internet Explorer and FireFIox Browser stays in memory after Exiting
Try the two I recommended please, they are immensely better.
Uninstalling IE is a pain and if you have the problem in IE and FF the problem probably won't go away just by reinstalling them.
