Question : nic/domain

I am getting awkward results from one machine on the domain. It keeps saying domain unavailable when trying to login. when i unplug the cat-5 from the PC's nic card, the amber light stays on. It is supposed to go off right?

Can you log into the machine using cached domain credentials? (cable unplugged).

If so, you may have some kind of trust issue. Try removing and readding the computer on the domain (maybe even rename the computer before adding it back).
