Question : Network uptime monitor

I have a feeling my router may be faulty.  

I need a free tool that will monitor the uptime of my internet connection..

I need to know if there are any interuptions..no matter how short.

Sorry, didn't explain.
This utility monitors an connection to a specified IP. If you place it on the 'inside' of your router and have it monitor an IP on the 'outside' of the router such as an ISP it will detect when the router drops the connection. Doesn't have to be an ISP it is monitoring it could be the IP of the router or any device on the 'other' side. I have used it to monitor clients Internet routers from my site.
