Question : 2 Domain controllers, 2 subnets, one domain
I have a branch office that we are installing a domain controller at. This office is currently set up on a Cisco ASA5505 that is configured with DHCP and on a second subnet . These servers are running windows server 2003 sp2 and all workstations are windows XP pro. This domain controller has been configured with DHCP and will become the main DHCP server for this office once in place. My question is what are the specific steps I need to do to configure the new domain controller as a DNS server for the second subnet? *The domain controllers are on the same domain as well as all of the workstations involved at the branch office. Any guidance is greatly appreciate.

Answer : 2 Domain controllers, 2 subnets, one domain

DNS reflects the domain, not the subnet, DNS will have entries for both subnets and each DNS server will update the other through active directory replication.
