Question : copy and paste across terminal services session win 2000

Greetings,

I have a win 2000 terminal server and I want to allow clients to copy/paste to their desktops from their terminal services session.

I have looked this up on microsoft and read the articles in tech net and the knowledge base on how to allow this.  My question is that it talks about win 2000 server resource kit, which I gather you have to order if you don't have it, and then there is  a list of free tools, one of which is rdclip which it required for this process.

Can someone tell me if the resource kit is required and what is the best process to use to make this modification.

If you just want to copy/paste data, then you don't need anything; you can do that already.

If you want to copy/paste files, then yes, you'll need to buy and install the resource kit, followed by the hotfix you found.
