Question : This must be my day for all the fun-When I try to search the web, it is pulling information up in Chinese.

I do not know what I did but when I try to use search on web, it is pulling up the results in Chinese? The strange thing is I had to have my laptop repaired and the hard drive was imaged and all the software was reinstalled.

While my laptop was off being repaired I was borrowing my sons laptop (different brand, different platform -XP versus Vista) and his is now pulling up everything in Chinese as well.

I have enough trouble without having to learn a new language. Help!

jlfcpallc--Did you look in IE Tools|Internet Options|General tab|Search section|Settings to see the Search Engine list?
If it is obviously the US version of Google that is being used as Default, perhaps change that.  For example switch to Bing!  (click on "Find More Providers" at the bottom left of that window)  If that brings English back, you then can stick with the new Search engine or switch back to Google.  In the latter case, just make sure it is the US Google.
