Question : Can't map drive over Netware VPN to Linux server but works for Windows server
|
|
With the Netware Border Manger VPN client (v3.7), I can establish a tunnel to work and I can ping everything I need on the network--even by name, so DNS is working fine. But even when I try to map a drive using the IP address and share name, it does not work to our Linux server (or Netware servers), but there is no problem mapping a drive to a Windows server.
I can SSH (via putty.exe) into the Linux server no problem, and the local Linux firewall is disabled.
I'm doing this on my notebook computer which works perfectly when I'm on the inside of the firewall.
Do these Linux and Netware servers block external addresses automatically?
