Question : Is there a way to span a port on Catalyst 2950 to multiple ports?

Hello all Experts!
I am trying to span one single port to many ports, that is to say that i would like to have 1 source port and many destination ports. I understand this is only done via a VLAN scenario where you set the source port to feed it to a VLAN.

I think that Catalyst 2950 does not support more than one monitor session.

Please let me know if I am incorrect.

Thank you!

That's strange.  I could have sworn you could have two sessions with the same source as long as the destination was different.

I guess I was wrong, according to this Cisco doc, you can only have one active SPAN session at a time on the 2950.

SPAN on the Catalyst 2940, 2950, 2955, 2970, 3550, 3560, and 3750 Series Switches
These are guidelines for the configuration of the SPAN feature on the Catalyst 2940, 2950, 2955, 2970, 3550, 3560, and 3750 Series Switches:

The Catalyst 2950 Switches can have only one SPAN session active at a time and can monitor only source ports. These switches cannot monitor VLANs.
