Question : Any way to force DHCP Server authorization?

I have a Windows 2000 DHCP Server in a remote office.  This server was a member of a NON DNS NT4 domain.  It had DHCP running on it for a long time.  Recently we changed IP addresses on it, and now the server shows up as unauthorized.  If we try to authorize it, we get an error "The DHCP Server could not contact Active Directory".  We do have AD installed on our domain, but this server is still using the NT4 BDCs for authentication on the domain, and is not using internal DNS.  So it should not even know about AD yet.  Is there any way I can get DHCP re-authorized on this server?  This server also runs DNS, for a small group in this one office, I don't want to turn off DNS or DHCP on this server because it affects a group of users only in this location.

Thanks
Joe

Answer : Any way to force DHCP Server authorization?

--NT does not require a server to be authorized

Just on a side note, as you know NT doesnt use AD so it cant even see if a DHCP server is authorized or not
