Question : pcAnywhere login prompting for domain
I've just installed pcAnywhere on Win XP but cannot log in to the remote machine. It connects to the host and prompts for username, password and domain. The host was originally set up with Windows authentication which I believe causes the domain prompt, but I have deleted that caller info and have set up a new one with pcAnywhere authentication type only. But it still prompts me for the domain when I try to connect so I haven't been able to log in.
Answer : pcAnywhere login prompting for domain
Nothing I tried worked - except for deleting PCA and re-installing it from scratch. And then making sure I specified PCA's own authentication when setting up the host.
