Question : Unable to view web pages although broadband shows connected

I have Huawei ADSL MT882 router with BSNL broad band connection and i am using Windows XP.I was using this connection since 2-3 years and didn't faced any issues.However now i am not able to view any web pages although when i click on Connection it asks for user name and password then on clicking connect it verify user name and password on server, register computer on netwrok and then shows BSNL broadband connected with xxx speed.Bytes sent and received also change but no web page opens.All lights in ADSL which are required are glowing accordingly.

thanks for all ur inputs...I have re-intalled WindowsXP and the problem got resolved.
