On MAC OS X however, I am not able to connect it simply says wrong password.

thanks in advance!

Answer : netstorage on mac osx

What version/SP of NetWare/OES and NetStorage do you have?  Older versions of NetStorage don't have Mac support.

NetStorage uses Universal Password, IIRC.  Have the Mac user accounts been set up to use Universal Password?  Are the Mac users in an OU that is in the NetStorage path, and does the NetStorage proxy user have appropriate rights to those user objects?

Or, maybe I'm wrong, and it needs to be set up using Simple Password.  I don't remember...

What version of OS X are they on?  For many things, that makes a real difference.  There are some issues with "mapping" and NFAP/AFP on 10.4x that worked fine on 10.3x and prior, for example.

"... it simply says wrong passsword."  Hmmm...  Interesting.  Gotta love the "simplicity" of the Mac...

Are they using Internet Explorer on the Mac to attempt this?  If so, what version of IE for Mac?  There are issues with certain versions of IE and SSL certificates.

OSX has WebDAV built-in, so they really should be going at it using Go, server type "Web Servers", select the server, using the HTTPS: url, and log in...  If that's how it's happening and they still can't get in, has the server cert been imported, and is the organizational CA also imported so it's a trusted signer?  I don't know exactly where in Mac OS X to do that, but it has to be available somewhere...  it's BSD-based, after all. ;)
