Question : NTDS KCC 1311, 1308 and 1566
|

We are running a Windows 2000 Adv. Server (SP4) network with Exchange accross 2 locations. Location 1 has 2 DC's (DC1 and DC2) and Location 2 has 1 DC (DC4). About twice a week, DC4 looses conectivity to DC1 and Replication fails. After this Exchange starts to not authincate and dosen't pass emails between sites. The only way we can fix this is to reboot the DC's then reboot Exchange. DC1, DC2 and DC4 are all Bridgehead Servers and GC's.
We have looked at the following MS articles with no luck: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307593&sd=ee http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;268109&sd=ee
This has been going on for several months but has just now been happening so often that it is affecting productivity.

Look for KB 893066 in add remove programs, check all the DC's and the Exchange server. If its installed that may be contributing to your issue. Do not remove it, you will just need to install the fix. It can be downloaded here:
