Question : Wrong Logonserver

My head office DCs were temporarily unavailable one morning due to network card problems.
I resolved the issues that morning but a lot of clients failed over to logging on with another site's DC in the meantime.

Now since that day (over 2 weeks ago) most of my head office clients are still logging on using the other site's DC which is slower and annoying.

How can I get them to use the local DCs again?

i spoke to someone on friday, who beleives that you can hardcode a new logon server by creating an environmental variable with the name logonserver and the value of your \\server ....however this is untested by myself and i have yet to get a chance to play.....
