Question : Recover deleted active directory user

I by accident deleted a user from active directory and now that person is unable to get onto their computer.

How can I recover that user so no information is lost?

Can I just recreate the same user?

windows2000 server

Answer : Recover deleted active directory user

Recreate the user of the same name. He will have a different SID. Then go to his user area and add permissions so that this new user can access the data, Make this new user the owner of the data in the advanced security page. Delete old user probably just marked as a long number.
