Question : Local Area Connection displays the words: FAULTY
Ok...I have never seen this. When I go to Network Connections on an XP machine...this one displays the "Local Area Connection" as usual. But! it also has the words "(Faulty)" displayed next to it.
I attached a tiny screen shot of it. I dunno what is up, but I am getting DCOM errors in the Event Viewer.
Answer : Local Area Connection displays the words: FAULTY
sorry... and solution is: right click and select "rename", then delete (faulty)
