Question : gmail host my email from another domain
I have email from my hosting company at my own domain.
I wanted to move my email to gmail (to the cloud) so I would never have to worry about my computer crashing.
I know for $50 a year, you can have google host your email. I would like to do this, but I only want to do this with one account. I want to keep the ability to add accounts the way I do now from my control panel. Is this possible?
Also, is there a way to migrate outlook folders and messages to google? This is not exchange, but my emails on my desktop.
I sent a message to gmail about this. They sent back an email that said a thrid party vendor would contact me, but that was over two weeks ago.
Answer : gmail host my email from another domain
1) You can add IMAP or reconfigure your mailbox to use IMAP and then it will sync to GMAIL
2) What do you mean you do not want to add more mailboxes?
