Question : Can ping but can't see other servers on VPN

Hi there,
I run a small network of XP workstations and 2003 servers. We connect to the net through a Vigor Draytek 3300 and two ADSL modems with which the Draytek combines WANS. We use constant VPN connections to our clients, most of the controlled via the draytek but one client we connect to via Workstation-to-Network on XP (remote teleworker).

All of the XP machines in my office connect without issue on all VPNs but there is one machine that will not see any of the client servers on the other end of the VPNs in explorer. It works fine internally accessing the correct servers and will even happily ping other client servers on the VPNs but when asked via explorer to access shared folders on the other server it refuses point blank simply returning "Windows cannot find '\\192.1.2.180'. Check the spelling and try again, or try searching for the item by clicking the Start button and then clicking Search." But it can ping the ip 192.1.2.180 quite happily.

The machine displays the same problem on all other VPNs - it can ping them no problem but in explorer it can't see them.

Any ideas?
