Question : What is the best way to build a website and where to host it?

I need to build  a website for my business, but am lost at where to even start. I want it to be professional looking, and functional.  I've seen on tv ads for programs like intuit website, but when i look online, i find a slew of different options, and i am overloaded and need advise as to what to use. I am looking for something very easy to use. I also need to know where is the best place to host my website with MY OWN domain name and how to be found, like when searched for on google or yahoo. Thank you in advance!

Answer : What is the best way to build a website and where to host it?

An easy start would be to go  with GoDaddy.com and have them setup a DotNetNuke site for you. This can be done relatively inexpensively. DotNetNuke is a free open source content management system that GoDaddy offers out of the box since it is used to commonly.  You can buy "skins" online if you don't have a development/design background through snowcovered.com http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=295&search=skins
Everything will be editable through a web interface so you would never need development software nor a developer. You can also buy functionality through "modules" at snow covered for most basic functions.
