Question : Cannot access my webpage
|
|
OS: WinXP Router: Linksys WRT54G DSL Connection through wireless router I cannot access my website. I had a friend check, and he could access it. I tried ping, and it returned could not find host.
A friend suggested I try clearing the cache. So I used ipconfig /flushdns on my WinXP system. That didn't work. I was connected through a wireless connection.
Do I need to flush the DNS on the router side? If so how? Or do I need to do something else?
I can connect to other sites, and I can ping other sites. Thank you in advance.

What do you get when you ping it?
ping www.josephmccay.com
?
Does it resolve to 74.200.212.210?
What about http://74.200.212.210...Does that open up?
If so.... from a command prompt.... ipconfig /flushdns
then reboot and retry...
(actually surprised this didnt get suggested yet)
