Question : smtp;554 5.7.1: Helo command rejected: Access denied>

I am getting Smtp error while sending mail to only one domain.
Putting below delivery failure notification

From:      System Administrator
To:      [email protected]
Sent:      Wednesday, March 18, 2009 9:55 AM
Subject:      Undeliverable: FW: Test Mail
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:      FW: Test Mail
      Sent:      3/18/2009 9:55 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      [email protected] on 3/18/2009 9:55 AM
            You do not have permission to send to this recipient.  For assistance, contact your system administrator.
            : Helo command rejected: Access denied>

Request yo to pl help me resolving this issue.

For some reason, the Exchange setup skips this obvious question and nearly every person runs into this with their first Exchange implementation. The default is either machine.domain.local (note the local), localhost or the ISP (as it looks like in this case - dsl.com)

Much more common than the MX record, although that also needs to be checked.

If you don't have a domain, you can use Smart Host and have Exchange send via your ISP's smtp server
