Question : DNS 2008 Monitor Zone Resolution Alert
We recently upgraded to AD 2008 R2. We have 2 DCs running 2008 R2 and each of these servers also serve as DNS servers. We are still running the Forerst and Domain function level at 2003 just to make sure everything functions fine on the setup first. The old DCs are demoted and powered off. I am receiving the following message in System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2:
Zone TrustAnchors on DNS Server dc1.DBNT.dunbarton.com is not responding to queries.
Each DNS server is reporting this error message. I have posted some screenshots to maybe help with this issue.
Also, I checked and there are no Trust Anchors configured. Do I need Trust Anchors? Why would I? Maybe all I need to do is Override this alert if I do not need Trust Anchors.
Thanks in advance!
