Question : Multi-Domain Browsing

I have an AD domain on one side of the WAN and an NT domain on the other side. The users on the AD domain want to be able to browse the NT domain. I'm having problems getting the NT domain to appear in the browse list. I have added the IP of the WINS server to the TCP/IP properties of the PDC emulator on the AD domain. When I first did this and rebooted, the NT domain appeared in the browse list, but it has since disappeared and I can't seem to get it back.

Any help on getting this setup would be greatly appreciated.

Answer : Multi-Domain Browsing

I have figured out what the problem was. Someone had added a static 1b entry for the AD domain to the WINS server. This was pointing to the wrong IP. This caused a name conflict when the PDC emulator tried to registed itself with WINS. Once I fixed the entry to point to the correct IP, the domains appeared in the browse list.
