Question : VB.NET Bounce Back Email Parser

I am generating an email using SMTP and VB.NET to Bulk Mail to all donors in my system a PDF reciept of their gift.  I need a solution that would parse the Hard and Soft Bounce Back Emails and update my system by 1. removing the bad email address from the system and 2 inserting a flag that they need to recieve a hard copy of the letter.
Does anyone have an example of how this is done with VB.NET, C#, Using SQL Mail?, Using Outlook Programming?  I am just not sure of a good direction to take this yet.
