Question : How to define a cluster alias on Windows 2003 or XP
How do you define a "cluster alias" in Windows 2003 or XP.
I've built an Oracle RAC 2 node cluster, and I want to set up a cluster alias, so that I can use a normal TNSNAMES entry to connect to the RAC database.
Does any one know how to set up a cluster alias on Windows 2003, is it just a simple entry in the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
