Question : Exchange active sync
I am trying to configure exchange active sync. I have disabled basic authentication in both IIS and Exchange system manager (so clients have to use integrated authentication). I can get my little dell axim to sync with my exchange but only when I don't use an SSL connection. I have a wildcard SSL certificate from godaddy.com. I have installed the go daddy root certificate onto my pda, but get the following errors "Synchronization failed due to an incorrect SSL certificate common name (in the Host Name field). For example, you may have entered
www.server.com
, when the common name on the certificate is actually
www.different.com
. Make sure the server name is entered correctly and try again.
Error code : INTERNET_38
Answer : Exchange active sync

but since its not trusted natively by windows mobile you'd have to add it as a root certificate
