Question : Best method for connecting Outlook 2003 to Domino server

I support 10 users that connect via Lotus Notes to a remote Domino server via VPN.  The users would like to use Outlook 2003 as their email client instead of Notes.

My question is; what is the best approach?

Notes version 7.0.2
Domino Server version: ? (have emailed server admins....)

Answer : Best method for connecting Outlook 2003 to Domino server

HI,
there is 2 way...

1. Only use Outlook - You need to configure POP3 and SMTP port for email traffic between PC's and Domino server... then on outlook you configure via POP and SMTP connection.. so you no need to have lotus notes client...

2. You can use Outlook-Lotus Notes connector
- this is small program that you can get from microsoft or lotus notes website, Install this connector and and when you open your outlook it will auto import the configuration and mailbox from lotus notes client.. Please be reminded that you need to have lotus notes client running if you using option 2. The connector will not worked without lotus notes client installed...

Good Luck.. and please let me know if you have any queries
