Question : Can my Notes Administrator know what Email messages I have NOT Read using his ID?
|
|
My client asked me if the Administrator of the system could open his mail database and read what email messages he has yet to read as they show in Red. Furthermore, he would like to open a couple of key mail databases from his company and see if their employees are reading the emails they received from clients.
We did a quick test but of course, the unread marks for the employee do not appear under a different ID. So, is there way to know what documents are not red yet by someone else?
My guess is it is not possible. But I might be wrong.
Thank you all! Jose

Without access to the user ID it is probably impossible, although the information may be stored locally on his desktop in the desktopx.dsk or other files, I do not think that it is relevant.
There is an option that may affect this, in R7 that allows replication of read marks between databases.
I have not used this, so I can not tell if this would give any additional info.
I hope this helps !
