Question : DNS services is running but nslookup failed

Hi there,

I have a Windows domain controller which has DNS services running for many years. Recently the resolving of hostnames from the machines has failed on me.

I have ensure the services is running, but whenever i run a nslookup it says time out and then it fallover to my secondary dns.

Any ideas what is the problem and how to troubleshoot?

Was to say try removing and then adding the DNS server
