Question : Layout of NetBeans is driving me insane. Can anyone please help.

Does anyone know how to turn the alignment off so I can drag the boxes to whatever size I want without the other jTextfields being effected?  I have tried 'Free Design' on the panel, properties etc. and nothing works.  I just want to make the boxes to the size I want.  thanks

Try AbsoluteLayout. With GridBagLayout you can also set everything (i think it is a better way for more complicated forms) but it takes much longer time.
