Question : Slow Network browsing following DC decommssion
We recently used DCPROMO to demote a former DC to being a member server. There are two other DC's set to replicate and provide Global Catalogue, but although the demotion appeared to be successful, we have had a couple of issues: firstly slow browsing when users attempt use My Computer/ Explorer and some replication blips between the existing DC's.
Checking in AD Sites and Services, I notice that the server that should have been demoted is still listed although it doesn't have NTDS listed against it. Is it OK to just delete this from Sites and Services?

Oh!...do one thing...did u enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on DC ? Also make sure Server is pointing to right DNS Server IP Address and not 127.0.0.1 in TCP/IP Property.
