Question : "no such user" bounce  - Resource booking

When a resource or room is selected when creating a meeting the user receives the following email bounce

Eg. Error transferring to HANSBNE.HANS.COM.AU; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 550 Test_-_Andrew/Brisbane.hans@hans.com.au... No such user

I created a test resource on HANSBNE\resources.nsf.. the new resource appears when scheduling a meeting but the email bounce is still received.

The server with resources.nsf database is Domino 6.5

I think this all started when I was monkeying with the intersite mail protocol settings (ie SMTP or
notes)a while back  but maybe not.&

Any ideas?
