Question : Cisco Aironet 1100 - ONLY 1 out of  SSIDs works

Good morning all,
I have set up a wireless network in my school and I have 4 SSIDs out of which 3 don't work.  Each SSID corresponds to a VLAN. I'm running a DHCP server for those VLANs.
This is the scheme
SSID0 (default)  VLAN1 - 192.168.0.0/24 (native)
SSID1 - VLAN10 - 10.10.0.0/24
SSID2 -VLAN20 - 10.20.0.0/24
SSID4 - VLAN40 10.40.0.0/24

SSID1, 2 & 4 don't pull an valid IP they pull a 169.254 IP

The DHCP scopes for those VLANs are running. I have set the DHCP helper correctly. The aironet ports and the ports on the switch are trunked.

I know the DHCP works for wired VLANs (10.10, 10.20, 10.40), but I doesn't for the wireless Access Points.
The aironets connect to catalyst switches (2948g-l3) and hp 2650.
I'm out of ideas!
Does anyone have any ideas why it won't work? Should I have a specific IOS on the Aironets

Thanks,
T

Answer : Cisco Aironet 1100 - ONLY 1 out of  SSIDs works

Ok, just a question, on the machine that you are attaching to the different ssid's I'm assuming that you are going into a CMD window and running ipconfig/release and/or ipconfig/renew each time your are connecting to a different segment?  It may be that your DHCP server is seeing the same MAC address for each of the queries and it's thinking it already gave you an address on the other network...

Not sure if that will help but give it a try..
just before you leave one SSID run the ipconfig/release

then see what happens when you connect to the new SSID..

The other thing you might want to do is run a sniffer on the DHCP server and see if you can catch the DHCP requests coming in and out for the machine..  If you don't have a sniffer: google ethereal
