Question : Recording Cisco IVR Prompts

I'm trying to record custom prompts for a Cisco IVR system and I'm not finding anything on how to accomplish this using the IP Phones like Cisco's documentation vaugely mentions.  I found documentation on how to create these prompts using the Microsoft Sound Recorder, but I do not have access to a microphone.   Can anyone assist?
