Question : Lotus Notes Minder doesn't notify unread mails

Would you know why can be the reasons for having run the Notes Minder and not notifying the new mails receipted? it is working and if you do right clic the "view mail summary" it is showed that unred mails are there, however it is not notifying it. It is enabled and marked the three checkboxes for alerts: (audible notification, show missed alarms, visual notificatio for mail).

What could be the possible reason?
