Question : Cisco Unified Meeting Place Express

Hi there,

Does anyone have experience with Cisco Unified Meeting Place Express?  I would like to know if you can multiplex a number of different audio conferences together to hear them out of the same speaker on an IP phone or audio system?  Each audio conference must remain private from the other and an end-point have the capability to listen to all of them at the same time without bridging them all together so they all hear each other??  Hope I have explained this OK.

This has been achieved before by taking an analogue output from several conference phones into a mixer and pushing the content out on a single speaker.  If I can achieve this in a more simple way using software then great.

Regards, Wayne

Answer : Cisco Unified Meeting Place Express

What you trying to do is called "call monitoring" then conferrence the different calls that are being monitored.  You can actually monitor the calls in another conference bridge if you like or just simply call monitor each one from you phone or a conference phone by pressing the hock/flash to conference them all.

Cisco have notes on it at the link below.

Good luck!
