Question : Nprinter for Windows 2000

I download the zip files for nprinter for Windows 2000. After extract the files then copy the nprinter.exe and nprinter.cpl to the directory c:\winnt\system32. When I run the nprinter.cpl choose the printer name, connect. Error show "The service could restarted: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress"

Where did you get the NPRINTER for Win2K?  There is a downloadable for NPRINTER for NT, from 1998.  The CoolSolutions site has it as NPRINTER for Win2K/XP, but it's the same product with a couple of updated files, notably the reg file, Winternals' PSSERVICE.EXE, and various BAT files.

Are you using the Novell Client32 or the crippleware client that comes with Windows?  If the NPRINTER for NT >CAN< work on Win2K, it WON'T work without using the Novell client32.
