Question : Can't connect to internet after changing router setting from WEP to WPA... Dlink Router
Hi,
I have a Windows Vista computer and a Dlink wireless router. There are 3 computers at home.
originally the router was set up on WEP security and the 3 computers had wireless connection.
We changed the setting from WEP to WPA and changed the password to 10 DIGITS.
now 2 computers only can have access to the internet. The third one has the wireless connection but can not access to the internet. This computer can connect to the internet by only using direct net work cable to the internet.
Any Idea?
Answer : Can't connect to internet after changing router setting from WEP to WPA... Dlink Router
Try disabling the other network cards while connected via wireless. Sometimes does the trick.
Try pinging your router.
Try pinging a web address outside the router.
Check for DNS resolution.
