Question : LDAP Synchronization
I am about to bring my slave LDAP server back on line.
I had to shut it down so I could ship it to another location and now want to bring it back online.
I changed the IP addresses for the servers in slapd.conf and I'm going to open the ports in the firewall.
However, is this safe?
Will the old one just get itself back up to date by downloading from the Master?
How do I know when they are synchronized?
Answer : LDAP Synchronization
As long it's setup correctly, it should sync. And as mentioned, you should be able to see the status in the logs.
