Question : How to setup a WAP on a network using a different IP scheme?

Hopefully I can get sonme help with this.  I have a domain network with roughly 100 users.  I have been asked to install a WAP in a conference room which will be used for guests visiting the facility.  I need to install the WAP, but I want it to be independent of the network.  Meaning, I need it to supply internet access to visitors, but the IP address they get receive via the WAP needs to be different from what the DHCP server supplies the comapny with.

Is there a procedure for this?

It depends on what kind of switches and network hardware you are running.  What you want to do it create a separate VLAN on the network which will have its own subnet.  Your DHCP server would also have to support handing out DHCP for multiple scopes, but this is supported on almost all DHCP services in Linux or Windows Server.  You can setup access lists to make sure that that wireless subnet will only have access to the internet gateway.
