Question : NT domain --> Active Directory Domain

In our company we have a NT4 domain with an Exchange Server (5.5). Now we bougt 2 new server and I want to update to a windows 2000 active direcotry domain.

I don't have any idea how to do this. I now installed windows 2000 with an new active directory domain. But how can I tranfer my exchange server to the new domain? Or is it a better idea to install  a NT4 bdc, upgrade it to a pdc and the upgrade that to windows 2000?

Is there a way to do this user by user? Any comments are welcome!

Thanks in advance,

Answer : NT domain --> Active Directory Domain

These links will help you perform the upgrade from NT to win2k

In general- it is suggested to add a New machine as a BDC in NT4, and then to upgrade it to win2k. That way you have all the account information available.

I hope this helps !
